Each full combination has probability 1 / N. Distinct jackpot outcomes in the same draw are mutually exclusive, so k distinct lines cover exactly k / N, not 1 − (1 − 1 / N)ᵏ. Repeating a line adds no new outcome. Every valid line has equal odds.

This is a mathematical scenario, not a ticket validator or a purchase recommendation. It excludes lower prize tiers, additional draws and Lotto Max MAXPLUS / MAXMILLIONS / ENCORE. Coverage is not expected profit or a guaranteed payout.

Why the counts differ

C(n, r) counts unordered selections without repetition. Multiply only separately selected number pools. Result-only bonus numbers do not increase the number of jackpot combinations.
