OFFICIAL SALES PATH

Selling jurisdiction

Select the selling jurisdiction to continue to the exact official lottery linked by Powerball's Where to Play map. Use that lottery's retailer locator for nearby licensed sellers. Lucky Numbers does not collect your location or certify retailers.

Select the place where the ticket would be sold first.

Retail and official online routes

LICENSED RETAIL

Buy only inside a selling jurisdiction

Use Powerball's official Where to Play panel to reach the selling lottery, then use that lottery's retailer locator. A map search by itself is not proof that a retailer is licensed.

  • Sales cutoffs vary by jurisdiction and can be one to two hours before the drawing.
  • Visitors may buy from an authorized retailer when physically in a selling jurisdiction if they meet that jurisdiction's legal-age rule.
OFFICIAL ONLINE ONLY

Online availability is not nationwide

Some lotteries sell Powerball online only to eligible residents in their own jurisdiction. Cross-border internet or mail sales are restricted.

  • Continue only from the official selling lottery reached through Powerball's Where to Play panel.
  • A lottery may refuse payment for a ticket bought through an unaffiliated website.
03 · AFTER A WIN

Claim in the jurisdiction that sold the ticket

Powerball publishes national guidance, but the selling lottery controls exact locations, forms, deadlines, withholding and validation. Treat the ticket and that lottery's current rules as authoritative.

Before you claim

  1. Recheck the draw date and official winning numbers.
  2. Sign and secure the ticket as directed by the selling lottery.
  3. Do not publish ticket barcodes, serials, or personal details.
  4. Contact the selling lottery before travel or a high-value claim.
PLAY RESPONSIBLY

Set the spending decision before the numbers

Powerball describes lottery play as a game and advises players never to spend more than they can afford. Unexpected messages asking for a fee or personal data are common scam signals.

  • Do not borrow, chase losses, or treat a jackpot as an income plan.
  • A legitimate lottery does not require an advance fee to release a prize.
